All cargo imported and exported to/from Vietnam are subject to the regulation of label and mark, thus all cargo not having enough info on the label will be fined, so to prevent this, it’s mandatory to know which info is required.
Below is the info from the decree 111/2021/NĐ-CP:
The info required to have when doing clearance:
+ Name of the commodity
+ Country of origin
+ Manufacturer name and importer name
+ For medical equipment: the owner name (in Vietnam) and the name of the company having the license.
However, do note that the following commodity doesn’t follow the above regulation:
+ Transit cargo, temporary import, re-export cargo, transship cargo
+ Luggage and personal effect
+ Fuel, raw material, scrap without packing and sold directly to the final consumer
+ Used cargo
+ Cargo for national defense and security, radiation…
